- For the Game of the Week, each player will predict who they think the winner of the game will be, the final score point differential, and select a number from 0-5 to indicate your confidence level in your selection.
- IMPORTANT! Members selecting the winning team will receive the number of confidence points indicated; members selecting the losing team will have that number of confidence points indicated subtracted from their total points that week.
- Please remember that both the point spread and confidence points must be indicated for the Game of the Week. If you fail to indicate any Confidence Points you will be assigned zero Confidence points.
- For weeks with multiple Monday Night games the last game listed on your schedule will be considered the Game of the Week.
NOTE: Sometimes the NFL changes games and game times for better viewer ratings. If the Commissioner is unable to adjust the conclave times to match the "new" NFL times, please base your predictions on what you see published on the site.

I've been there - I know how it feels.
Take a look at what the consensus is picking or pick teams that you don't think will ever win - you might receive a unique point bonus.
Just know that even the losers get lucky sometimes and there are also trophys awarded to the Best of the Rest.
If you still want to quit after these words of wisdom, please let the Commissioner know and he will archive your account in the Hall Of Shame.
MAKING PICKS
Games are locked 30 minutes prior to published start time and will be identified by a lock image. If a game has finished, the game is over it will be locked by default. The final score will appear as soon as the Commissioner updates the site.
NOTE: If your rivals decided to hide their picks and you are exporting picks before a game is locked, their picks will not be visible to you.
PA: Points Allowed
NP: Net Points
For example: If the Bears scored one field goal all season, they would have 3 PF.
And if 5 teams only scored 1 field goal each against them, the Bears would have 15 PA.
And that would calculate to -12 NP because 3 - 15 = -12.
They would have negative net points because they don't score as many points as teams have scored on them.
If NP is a positive number, they are scoring more points than their opponents.
If you are confident with your predictions, you can, and should, ignore these statistics.
However, if you are a new player, and not sure which team to pick, please note that the majority is not always correct.
However, if you were playing a card game, would you allow your opponents to see your cards before you place them down?
This is the only game where you have the option to choose a number of confidence points for the team you think will win. If you don't choose any points (keep it at 0), then you will not have any additional points added to your total points for that week.
An advantage to choosing 0 points is that if the team you predicted to win actually loses, then you have 0 points deducted from your total points.
If you choose 3 confidence points and the team you predicted to win actually wins, you will have 3 points added to your total points.
However, if you choose 3 confidence points and the team you predicted to win actually loses, you will have 3 points taken away from your total points.
For example, let's say you won 13 out of 16 games including the game of the week with 5 confidence points:
13 wins = 39 points
only 3 loss = 4 bonus points
No exactos, closeos, or other uniqueos
Game of week won = +5 points
39+4+5=48
Alternatively, let's say you won 13 out of 16 games but lost the game of the week risking 5 confidence points:
13 wins = 39 points
only 3 loss = 4 bonus points
No exactos, closeos, or other uniqueos
Game of week lost = -5 points
39+4-5=38
48 vs. 38 equals a 10 point differential.
Be aware of what you are risking regarding confidence points.
You can always make a pick for a game before that game is locked, but you cannot make a pick for a game once it is locked or the game is over. If you don't make any picks for a particular week, you will not be penalized.
In fact, for that week, you will receive a score equal to one half of the points of the person who scored the least number of points.
stating in detail the exact problem you are encountering
and what results you were expecting to see as a result of your attempt,
then the commissioner will be able to assist you.
However, if you notice an issue with your picks after the week has started or after a game is locked,
it is difficult to make adjustments if the issue is not conclave wide.
CHECKING RESULTS
There are as many as 6 different Filters that can be viewed at different times during the week.
1.) Points: This view is hidden if the week is not over yet.
2.) Matchup: This view is hidden if the week is not over yet.
3.) Forecast: This view is hidden if the week has not started yet or if all of the scores have been entered for the week.
4.) Predictions: This view is always available but will display differently based on different events.
5.) Picks: This view is similar to the Prediction view except it displays user picks in a column format vs. row format.
6.) Export: This view allows you to save to spreadsheet what is currently displayed on the Predictions view.
This view is hidden if all of the scores haven't been recorded because the week is not over yet.
Points are calculated for each game based on number of wins, point spreads, unique occurrences, and special outcomes.
You can see how the points were calculated based on which games provided the points.
You can preview how you rank within your division based solely on your wins and point spreads.
These scores are not final as they do not include any confidence points nor any unique points that will be awarded within division, conference, or conclave.
Once all of the scores for a particular week are entered, the Points view will always display for that week.
In other words, if the current week is week #2 and the game of the week has not started yet, you will not see the Points view for week 2.
You will be able to see the Points view for week 1 because all of the games for that week have finished.
NOTE: If you are looking at a week that has not finished yet, points will not display because they have not been recorded yet.
NOTE: If you are looking at a week that has not started yet, picks that are hidden by users will not display in the spreadsheet.
1.) He picked 10 winners at 3 points each = 30 points
2.) Since he had 6 losses, no bonus points = 0 points
3.) He had the Giants by 3 and since they won by 3 he received one exacto game = 2 points
4.) Nobody else in his division picked Atlanta - he did but not the exact points spread, so a closeo was awarded = 1 points
5.) He was only 1 out of 2 people from his division to pick Minnesota = 3 points and also the only 1 out of his division to pick Atlanta = one divisional uniqueo = 6 points (3+6) = 9 points
6.) He was only 1 out of 2 people from his conference to pick Atlanta = one conference uniqueo = 3 points
7.) There weren't any teams that only a few people picked to win so no super-uniqueo was awarded = 0 points
8.) He won the game of the week so his specified confidence points were added: 5 points
30+0+2+1+9+3+0+5=50 points
Example 2:
13 wins = 39 points
3 losses = 4 points
Houston by 7 = exacto = 2 points
Picks were not the closest against the spread = 0 points
Only person in division to pick Jets = 6 points
1 of 3 people in division to pick Minnesota = 2 points
No unique conference picks = 0 points
No unique league picks = 0 points
Game of week win = 4 points
39+4+2+0+8+0+0+4 = 57
Example 3:
9 wins = 27 points
>5 losses = 0 points
Giants by 3 and Vikings by 3 = 2 exact games = 4 exacto points
No points in the games were available for closeos = 0 points
Only Houston = 6 points
Only Minnesota = 6 points
1 of 2 on Philly = 3 points
No conference uniqueos = more than 3 people picked the same winners as she did in both divisions 3 and 4
No superuniqueos either = has to be less than 4 people in the entire league to pick the winner of that game
Game of week = +5 points
27+0+4+0+15+0+0+5 = 51
Example 4:
13 wins = 39 points
3 loss = 4 points
NY and Minnesota by 3 = 4 points
Dallas won by 4 – nobody picked them to win by 4, but a couple picked them to win by 3 which is one away. Therefore, 1 closeo = 1 point
1 of 3 to pick Minnesota = 2 points
No other uniqueos
Game of week lost = -5 points
39+4+4+1+2+0+0-5=45
Consequently, there is a differential of 10 points if he would have won the game of the week: 39+4+4+1+2+0+0+5=55
45 vs. 55 - be cautious with the game of the week.
STANDINGS / RANKING
20 players are selected as "Leaders" based on final standings of regular season.
All remaining players not selected to the Leader bracket are selected to compete in the Best of the Rest bracket.
